Associate $550 Annually

For any business or person that provides a service or product designed for the building industry.

Builder $550 Annually

For any person holding a builders license in the state of Michigan.

Young Professional Associate Member $200.00 One-Time Fee

Young Professional (YP) Associate Members are those new members that are business owners that provide a service or product in support of the residential building industry and are 45 or younger (as defined by the National Association of Home Builders). YP Associate Membership has the same benefits and opportunities as non-YP members but allows for a reduced membership rate with a gradual increase (1st year: $200, 2nd-4th years: $200 off the current rate, 5th year: current membership dues rate).

YP Members agree to the following criteria to qualify for the reduced membership rate:

Attend "Putting the HBA Pieces Together" within your first year of membership - this 1.5-hour program covers your HBA member benefits and the marketing and professional development opportunities available
Join the YP Council
Attend 3 General Membership Meetings (there are 7 annually)
Join a committee

Young Professional Builder Member $200.00 One-Time Fee

Young Professional (YP) Builder Members are those new members that are business owners, with a valid and current builders license in the state of Michigan and are 45 or younger (as defined by the National Association of Home Builders). YP Builder Membership has the same benefits and opportunities as non-YP members but allows for a reduced membership rate with a gradual increase (1st year: $200, 2nd-4th years: $200 off the current rate, 5th year: current membership dues rate).
